Getting Started with TNTatlas Client
While the TNTatlas Client GIS software is downloading please take a moment to read this
quick guide so that you can get the most out of the data and the features supported by the software. A guide to all the features of the software can be
found below.
The GIS software runs separately to your browser, and, once it has finished downloading it will start itself. As the data that it displays is of a high volume this is not sent to you via the Internet. Instead only the portion of data currently in your display is sent at any time. Consequently each time you want to make a change to the data viewed (zoom, pan, change data layers displayed etc.) this request must be sent to the host computer and then the new data sent to you. You may therefore need to click the button to initiate your changes (pan and some zoom types exempt). There may be a delay of around 30 seconds between your request for a change and the change occurring.
