America coverage |
- US Gulf of Mexico - high densities of repeating
deep-water seeps, including Sigsbee Knolls and Perdido
Canyon, now major oil discoveries (Great White and
Hammerhead). Further data added in 2006 over Eastern
GoM and Florida.
- Mexican Gulf of Mexico – over 200 high rank
seeps, many as multiple repeats in undrilled deep-water
areas. Prolific seepage confirmed by ship-borne sampling
in deep-water Campeche (MacDonald
et al. 2004 - includes NPA data & interpretation

coverage of eastern Mexico waters.
- Caribbean includes coverage of Nicaragua, S.E. Jamaica
